Consecrated Men & Women

REGNUM CHRISTI CONSECRATED LIFE

Consecrated life in Regnum Christi is a new lifestyle in response to Christ’s call to his chosen ones: “Come and follow me.” The mission of a consecrated lay man or women is to share their Christian testimony by living in this world without belonging to it, and by giving themselves exclusively to the love of Christ and his Kingdom. It is a mission to serve Regnum Christi, the Church and all humanity by living with charity and joy our own life together with the strength that derives from prayer and our self-giving to God.

Consecrated Men

The Regnum Christi Consecrated Men are a branch of the Regnum Christi movement made up of lay men who dedicate themselves full-time to apostolate.  They live consecrated life in the Church within the lay state. They give their life entirely to God by living the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience in the Regnum Christi Movement.  The Mission of a consecrated lay man is to share his Christian testimony by living in this world without belonging to it, and by giving himself exclusively to the love of Christ and his Kingdom. It is also a mission of evangelizing of our temporal realities, giving testimony to others about the real value they have before God. It is a mission to serve Regnum Christi, the Church and all humanity by living with charity and joy our own life together with the strength that derives from prayer and our self-giving to God.

Consecrated Women

The Regnum Christi Consecrated Women are a branch of the Regnum Christi movement made up of lay women who dedicate themselves full-time to apostolate.  They live consecrated life in the Church within the lay state. Responding to God’s call, consecrated women, out of love, freely embrace the evangelical counsels through vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.  They live in community, which allows them to open themselves to be enriched by women of other cultures, languages, backgrounds and personalities, and give witness to the charity lived by the first Christian communities. While not excluding any particular type of apostolate, consecrated women of Regnum Christi offer the Church a form of evangelization according to their charism. They fulfill their evangelizing effort especially by proclaiming the faith; by educating; by pastoral work with children, youth and families; by evangelizing culture; through formation of the woman; through formation of consecrated persons and by works of Christian charity.
